I have been a student of Social Psychology for a while now ..its a field that has interested me for a good 20 years now . these books sadly are just gleaned information from many studies that have been thrown together in a haphazardly way that is misleading, if you truly want to learn about reading people and understanding human nature and emotional response, then i suggest studying Social Psychology.. these kind of books are just garbage put together to sell..
